Full-grain chocolate cowhide covers the rolled arms, seat cushion, and side panels with hand-distressed finishing; surface marks, pull variations, and natural grain differences are a product of that process and are not defects. The centerline panel from headrest through seat cushion is caiman embossed leather in champagne tan, with large-scale scute patterning and raised ridge texture. Arm fronts and the base skirt carry a second caiman embossed leather in tobacco brown with smaller-scale scute detailing. All leather panels receive hand-rubbed conditioning after assembly. Brass-finished nailhead trim outlines the arm caps and base skirt perimeter, and round-head rivets secure the caiman panels at stress points. The reclining mechanism operates by hand lever on the right side, engaging a synchronized seat tilt and footrest extension through a gas-assist piston. The swivel base is ball-bearing mounted to the hardwood frame and rotates 360 degrees.
