Internal shelving uses solid wood construction joined to cabinet sides with dado joints, keeping shelves level under load with no visible fasteners on cabinet exteriors. An integrated wine storage section divides into individual carved slots sized for standard 750ml bottles held at a slight downward angle. The base sits on four turned hardwood feet with block pedestals, positioning the island 12 inches above floor level.
