The function of the Furious Ultra tuning device for Specialized 3.1 motor (Turbo Levo gen4) is to electronically manipulate the rotation speed of the rear wheel and to communicate to the motor a speed always lower than 25 KmH in order to obtain a real speed with very high active motor. The maximum speed limit will therefore be dictated by the power of the engine added to the power expressed by one’s legs (info). When the tuning device is active, having no communication with the display, it will show the halved data on any display (or app) starting from a certain threshold. This tuning kit can be installed on Specialized Turbo Levo (gen4) equipped with Specialized 3.1 motor and MasterMind T3. Furious Evo Ultra devices offer a choice of operating modes: – Always active, cannot be deactivated – Activated/deactivated by pedaling with the wheel lifted – If tuning was active before turning off, it will also be active after turning it back on. – If tuning was active before turning off, it will be deactivated after turning it back on. – Tuning can be activated/deactivated with an external button (not included in the kit).
