Description These floats are made from a turned champing cork to form the body & Crow quill stems & pink over white painted tips Next, they are dressed and lined using emerald, green and black and silk thread. Finally, they all have a minimum of 10 coats of lacquer. The length is between 16 & 19 cm (5 ½ –7¼ “) With all handmade floats the cocking weight might very a little, these are 2.4,2.8 & 3.2 gm”, a weight that makes them sit up well. My floats are signed or initialled and dated. If you order a bespoke set, then at time of ordering I can add the buyer’s name.
